Step 1: Create a Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) account
The first step is to create a Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) account at the Trusted Traveler Website
Step 2: Log in to your TTP account and complete the application
The second step is to complete your application for Global Entry on the Trusted Traveler website. Once approved you will then be ready to book your interview appointment.
Step 3: Schedule an interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center
After accepting your completed application, CBP will conduct a review. If your application is conditionally approved, your TTP account will instruct you to schedule an interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center. Each applicant must schedule a separate interview.
Step 4: Find an earlier appointment or snag last minute cancellations at enrollment centers booked for 1 year
Often Washington, DC Enrollment Center will have "No appointments Available" on the Trusted Travel program website, or you will find appointment interviews that are months out. Directions: The enrollment center is located in the Ronald Reagan Building, on the ground level. The enrollment center is located near the Woodrow Wilson Plaza entrance. The Ronald Reagan Building is at the Federal Triangle Metro Station (Blue and Orange lines.) U.S. Customs and Border Protection continues to closely monitor the current COVID-19 developments and take appropriate measures in accordance with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO).

Notes: Please bring a copy of your appointment verification, all valid travel documents (e.g. passport, visas, green card, etc.), and proof of residency (driver's license / utility bill).To ensure the safety of the public and CBP officers during the continued COVID-19 variants, the following mitigation procedures are in place:• All Global Entry applicants are encouraged to wear a face covering inside the D.C. Enrollment Center, including the waiting area.• All applicants should follow current CDC social distancing guidelines. If the Enrollment Center waiting area exceeds capacity, applicants will be asked to wait outside.• Protective barriers have been installed at all interview stations.• Applicants must have a scheduled appointment in order to interview; “walk-in” interviews cannot be accommodated until further notice.
